Local moving notes
Worth knowing before you move
- Leaside, near Eglinton Avenue East and Bayview Avenue, is known for larger detached homes on quiet streets — one of the more established and sought-after parts of East York.
- Thorncliffe Park is one of the most densely populated apartment neighbourhoods in Toronto, so moves there typically involve an apartment building's own elevator and loading arrangements rather than a driveway.
- A moving truck actively loading or unloading in Toronto may stop briefly in a posted 'No Parking' area under the Highway Traffic Act, but must still follow every other posted restriction.
